This is highly individualised and will vary from person to person. Generally speaking, you need a minimum of 3 months to achieve great results. You will go through phases of reverse dieting (where you slowly eat more - with little or no weight gain - to optimise your metabolism) followed by a cut (where you drop your calories to lose weight). These phases will be repeated several times over until you reach a point whereby you feel you have reached your goals.
Some clients stay with us long term for accountability and support; but we want to make sure that you learn enough through the process to ensure you can eventually maintain your results for life without our help! So really, the length of the process comes down to your goals and preferences!

We do not sell unsustainable crash diets. We put your health first, above all else. Most people who have been already dieting for long periods of time have compromised their metabolisms. We need to begin by repairing/optimising your metabolism to prime you for weight loss. This process takes time and in our experience, you need at least 3 months to see true, lasting change in your body. Trust us, our methods work and being patient is worth it!
No, we do not believe that anyone should ever follow specific meal plans. These are too rigid and do not cater to individual dietary preferences, which can lead to lower adherence, resentment of the program and unhelpful thinking around food. Instead, we educate you about food and the amounts that work best for your body, allowing you to flexible and eat what you love! For most people, portion control is the key.
Yes! We provide you with your macronutrient goals and we educate you about sound nutrition, but ultimately you decide what you eat within those parameters. We have worked with clients who have food intolerances (gluten, dairy etc.) and other dietary restrictions. Generally speaking, it is harder to reach your protein targets on a vegetarian or vegan diet, but we can work with you to ensure you achieve your goals.
Most importantly, you need a can-do attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard to achieve your goals. We give you all the tools but you need to put in the work!Additionally, you will need the following equipment: body weight scales, food scales, measuring cups and spoons, and a variety of kitchen equipment and storage containers. In the set up process, we will also direct you to download smartphone apps which you will use daily (MyFitnessPal and the Ever So Fit app).
We equip you with all of the tools you need to succeed in this program. You will receive customised macro goals, which will be updated weekly to ensure you are progressing. You will have access to your coach for questions and advice, as well as to a group chat in the Ever So Fit app with all of the other program participants! In this chat, we share goals, grocery finds and advice, as well as supporting one another and celebrating our wins. We have the best community!
